It’s good to learn from the past and equally good to plan for the future but it’s always best for you to live your life fully at this present moment.
Suffering, regret, guilt, fear, hate and envy do not exist in the now, they are a result of conclusions you formulated based on a ‘previous now’, commonly known as ‘the past’. Worry, anxiety, concern, overwhelm don’t exist in the now; they are anticipations based on what you either experienced in the past or are currently experiencing.
Your mind will work against you and will overpower you if you let it and it will use time (past and anticipated future) to manipulate your actions by attaching certain feelings to your thoughts.
